From: roush@stortek.com (Jeff Roush) Subject: TAB: Always Somewhere (Scorpions) Somebody, quite a while back requested AS and I finally got around to tabbing it up (sorry it took so long to whoever made the request). Lyrics, explaination of timing and how to put the parts together follow below. I've tried to put some concept of time in by leaving space where a note is carried. If you use each character space as half a beat (4/4), it should work out about right (except at the ends of lines). Here's how to put the parts together: Intro AAAAAB Verse 1 ABAB Arrive at seven, the ... Small Solo Break AB Verse 2 ABAB I call your number, the line ... Chorus: Always .... (2x) Long Solo Break AAAA Verse 3 ABAB Another morning, another .... Chorus Outtro AA -- Note that the last couple of notes are played differently (arpegiate a C9 chord I think - e --- b -3- g -0- d -2- a -3- e ---) Note: The main effects used seem to be chorus on the verse parts (A & B) and heavy distortion on the choruses. Please let me know if there are any errors, etc. Enjoy, Jeff my opinions are my own... Jeff_Roush@stortek.com From: csusb@csv.warwick.ac.uk (Jules) Subject: TAB: Always Somewhere (Scorpions) - Main Solo Some time ago I noticed that the version of this song at the Nevada archive contains only the tab for the rythym parts of this excellent song. I have finally got around to tabbing up the main solo break, which comes after the first chorus. I have not tabbed up the shorter breaks over the intro, between the first two verses, or over the finale. .............................................................................. All 4 measures are equal length (I believe), and the spacing of notes shown is a rough indicator of the rythym, although for more accuracy, refer to the record. This is a very rythmic, flowing solo, and keeping close to the feel of the original is important in making it sound good. Symbols used: 12b(13) = start with 12th fret, and bend up to pitch of 13th fret. \ = slide down ~ = vibrato (very slight in this solo) 8h10 = pick while fretted at 8th, hammer on to 10th. (14)r12 = after bending to 14th, release to pitch of 12th (ie normal pitch) -- /* Julian R Hall csusb@csv.warwick.ac.uk Flames should be redirected to /dev/null - I don't know what I'm saying myself so don't expect it to make sense all the time! */
