( Originally recorded by Lynryd Skynryd ) Tabbed by Manuel Gutiérrez Rojas April the 8th 2002 Hello Everyone, well it's been a while since I tabbed a 'tallica song, but because many keep asking me to tab Tuesday's Gone out. So here it is. I've transcribed the main riffs, I haven't included the end solo. Enjoy. Things to know ["_3_"] = triplet [#] = rest [/] = slide up [\] = slide down [d] = strum downwards [u] = strum upwards [p] = pull-off [h] = hammer-on [x] = mute [ {?} ] = natural harmonic from x tone (you have to replace the ? by a tone [b(1/4)] = bend a quarter tone up [b(1/2)] = bend up half a tone [b(1)] = bend up a whole tone [ G||o-- ] = o stands for: repeat. You see those at the beginning and at the end of [ D||o-- ] o something that has to be repeated and the end it also says how many times. [~] = vibrato/ (Classic vibrato: vibrate your finger left and right (horizontally) \ (Modern vibrato: vibrate your fingers up and down (vertically) Use classic vibrato for weak vibrations, and the Modern for heavier ones. 1 2 3 4 <-------- = are numbers I included for what the most comfortable playing is. ------- which indicates which finger to use: 1=index, 2=middle , 3=ring, 4= little away A E F#m D Tuesday, you see, she had to be free A E Dsus2 riff But somehow, I've got to carry on Chorus #2 A, E, F#m, D A, E, Dsus2 riff Repeat till end. In the end all soloing is improvisation, I'm trying to transcribe the harmonica part, but you have to play fast, to be able to play that solo, because it wasn't of course meant to play on guitar. So you could improvise yourself, using these scales. In the Verses you could use both Amajeur Melodic/Pentatonic or Aminor Pentatonic scales, though I prefer Amajeur. In the chorus however, the Aminor pentatonic scale suits the chords a lot better. Amajeur Melodic/Pentatonic scales (actually G#smajeur/Pentatonic) (x) = a tone which is in the majeur scale, without playing them your in the pentatonic Majeur scale.
